Bar person unfriendly. Breakfast poor. Allergic reaction to large dog in bar.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your breakfast. We endevour to please all customers. If there was an issue I am sure we could have resolved it. As far as the bar is concerned we allow dogs in the bar area, however if you have an issue the dogs are not allowed restaurant. We advertise that the dogs are welcome. I am sorry you are allergic to them. With regards to an unfriendly bar staff this is very unusual as we normally get extremely good comments about the staff. I will address this.

Nice location,staff friendly and accommodating, food was good as were the real ales. Near to to town centre and beer garden was nicely maitained and very pleasant.
Dislikes:
No. However, I would suggest a vegetarian optionfor the full english breakfast.

Lots of local attractions.
Excellent breakfast
Good restaurant with reasonable choice and prices.
Dislikes:
The bed needed a new mattress. I could feel the springs!
Wifi could only be accessed in the main building.

The room was fantastic it was well equipped, spotless and huge. The bed was the best we slept in all trip and we had an excellent night;s sleep. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

Location, pub accross the yard with good food and drink, close to road network and historical sites. friendly staff, good value for self catering. Pub has food theme nights, really enjoyed steak night
Dislikes:
Layout of bathroom/bath under sloping roof means showers can be a challenge. Rail line close (which is noted in booking info).Only problem is with occasional long goods train. Stay too short!!!!!! :)
